disposable camera trash

pointed & shot in january 2026

the photos are developed. i picked them up today , and they turned out to be ugly and disappointing (just like me). it is good to have some compassion for the mishappen, boring, bland, uninspired, and ugly.

those 11 photos are just the ones that got developed out of the film-roll of 27 (because the other ones were unsalvagable, and the lab won't even bother sending them). i regret having gotten them on glossy paper, next time matte again.

i think i took all of those pictures while cross-country skiing. it was fun. it started raining today.

it seems like the digital scans they gave me were post-processed by the photo lab this time. the actual pictures i have gotten physically look all much darker. thanks for the free RGB-noise, i guess? for additional fun, i deep-fried the images with the magick of jpg compression (compassion).

next time will be better again. if it turned out good every time, it would not be special.

Sometimes there is no resolution. Sometimes the resolution is not satisfying. What remains is an itch. ∎
